The Bogliasco Center provides residential Fellowships for exceptional international artists and scholars in all phases of their careers to deepen creativity, connect to other perspectives, and develop their best work.
Vision
Bogliasco offers an intimate and intellectually nourishing
environment on the Italian Riviera in which a wide diversity of Fellows,
each involved in a different field of the arts and humanities, have
complete freedom to focus, reflect, and open themselves to expansive
creative thinking. Conversing over shared daily meals, carefully
designed cohorts of 8-10 residents learn to communicate beyond personal
and professional boundaries, often establishing new collaborations.
Long after Fellows leave the Center, the lessons of the experience continue to enrich their work and communities: yielding greater appreciation for the arts and humanities, expanding knowledge and aesthetic experience, and amplifying engagement between global citizens.
