Now accepting submissions to Genoa’s 2020 Hemingway Days Festival

Genoa’s Hemingway Days Festival will take place next April 16th to 19th, 2020.

This Festival was founded in 2018 with the aim of stimulating greater interest in the region for American Literature. The Bogliasco Foundation participated since then.

Bogliasco Foundation Fellows in Literature and Literature Scholarship are invited to submit applications of texts pertaining to Ernest Hemingway or Isaac Asimov or Edna St. Vincent Millay. The Festival also proposed the key word explorations for this year`s edition. Fellows can propose a lecture or a reading (prose or poetry).

To apply, please send us three short literary or scholarly texts and your bio by the 30th of January 2020. We will then share your materials with the Festival’s selection panel, which will make the final decision.

Those candidates who are selected by the festival will be given hospitality at the Bogliasco Study Center for the duration of the Festival. Travel and incidental expenses are not included, and are the responsibility of the participant.

To submit your work, or for further information, please email us at: [email protected]

We look forward to your submissions and send you our best wishes!
